Widowed a year ago and struggling to make sense of it all. My 17yr old dog is somewhat neglected because of this. She's sick now and I'm caring for her. That's all for now, I guess :)

I haven't blogged 'cos of MML but I received a rather disturbing message just recently. My B--day went incredibly well- the food was good even though it was from a ubiquitous coffee shop-I'm grateful.
The company was great too...my grandchildren, daughter and son-in-law were with me, together with a very gentle and kind 66-year old man I met recently.
Blogging is good I still deem but it isn't to be an ego journey in itself...This message seems to be saying just this-that it is so but the writer doesn't understand that it sometimes is hard for us to express ourselves to our loved ones.
Granted that blogging may be an ego journey, but for me and for many it's reflecting on my/our views and emotions @ a certain point in time and recording it serves to remind me/us whenever that I've/we've moved on.
Sad though it may be that I terminate this "friendship", but I know I'll move on...I could carry on in fact but for the expletives and accusations :D
Happy Teacher's Day Mummy! Thanks for all that you have done for me and Cheryl to bring us up during the good and the bad times. You taught us how to read, tutored us and loved us. On this day, a prayer I say, for Daddy-God to embrace you with His love and fill the emptiness with love, shalom-peace and joy. I love you, Mummy, now and always. Thanks for your online journal because it lets me in into your heart. Light, love and peace. Hugz and Muaks!
