School of HR in Chennai - Admissions Open
Chennai has the privilege of having the first B school exclusively specializing in Human Resources Management. Gemba School of HR (GSHR) has announced admission for Post Graduate Programme in Management – HR (PGPM – HR), a one year programme specializing in the “end to end” process of HR management.
As recent studies talk about 10, 00,000 job opportunities in the next one year, manpower requirement in HR is close to 5%, i.e., 50,000. And industry suffers from dearth of ‘ready to employ’ resources as the gaps between academics and industry are too many. A business school for HR with active participation from industry in programme design, delivery, mentoring and internship/placement support is the solution!
Initiated by a group of HR professionals and headed by Dr. R. Karthikeyan, a leading HR consultant & Trainer. Gemba School has a unique pedagogy of ‘Whole Brain Education Model which has a good mix of left brain functions and right brain functions - logic and analysis balanced with intuition and synthesis. The school promises “Live HR” experience during the programme with 60% time for practical and only 40% for theory.
The school (located at Thoraipakkam, OMR) was inaugurated recently amidst the support and cheer of about 50 HR managers from the industry. As the school is backed by a consulting company, the placement opportunities are promising where the demand dominates supply.
The programme is open for all graduates (students & executives) who are keen to work with people. Available in full time and part time options, this programme comes as a welcome relief for all “people - smart” MBA aspirants! You can log on to www.gembaschoolofhr.org for more information. Admission is open till end of August.
